Tying up endings

I think one of the main reasons for the loose endings, besides Larry David leaving, is that the plot threads are needlessly spread out, having nothing to do with each other in the first place, and although the result is impressive when they do tie together, that is much harder to accomplish. Many of the best episodes have the characters in related situations to begin with (i.e. The Hamptons, The Bubble Boy, and except for Elaine, The Library, as well as many others that slip my mind at the moment). The writers would do well to remember that their multiple plots need not necessarily be spread all over the map to be good.
