Apt 3A or Apt 5A???

Sure as hell hope this ain't a faq or something:

I noticed on tonight's episode that Jerry's apartment door said 3A on it. I could swear the number was 5A a few episodes back. Can anybody comment?

In several past episodes, especially those where people are looking out of Jerry's window, there have been indications that the apartment must surley be higher than the 3rd floor. If I remember correctly, the episode where Kramer and Jerry see the naked woman in the window across the street, the view that is shown (I believe the view is of them looking out the window, not the building across the street...although later in the show we see the window across the street and see Kramer in there, and that window also looks much higher than the third floor) briefly looks as if they are on at least the 5th floor...to name one.

I have an audio tape of the episode where Elaine was going to break up with the old man, when he had a stroke in Jerry's apartment. In the episode, Jerry calls 911 and gives his address as being:

129 West 81st St. Apt 5A
