Does anyone know if Brett, the Desperado boyfriend was the same actor who played Will Coony/Cortlandt on All My Children? Do Seinfeld enthusiats watch soaps?

Now there's a generalization!  Ahem, I used to watch AMC way back
when Cliff and Nina were engaged but Palmer withheld medical treatment
for Nina's blindness becuase he wanted to split them up.   It's been so
long, I didn't even know Palmer had a kid, much less that he would grow
up and get a bit part on Seinfeld.  The Cortland's must be very proud.
