tonight's seinfeld rerun! Morty impeached!

Can anyone tell me if the last scene in the Morty is impeached sequel is from a movie or something? All the hullabaloo with his leaving #2, and that weird wave goodbye at the end? Anyone?

I've seen that episode before, but never remember seeing that ending! I'd be interested where it is fro as well.

The ending was there since it first aired. I think it's a parody of Oliver Stone's Nixon....though I may be wrong...anyone? Jason

Well, didn't Nixon give the V for Victory handwave?

Not as he was boarding the helicopter, he just gave a very stiff and high wave...... the V thing was used during his campaigns......

It's a parody of Nixon's shameful, but proud, final exit from the Whitehouse to his helicopter (I believe)...

It was a reinactment of Richard Nixon's farewell boarding Air Force One after his impeachment.

I'm not sure if this is correct, but if not, I'm sure someone will tell me! My husband thinks it is supposed to be like Nixon leaving the office in disgrace.

Yeah, it's a parody of Stones movie 'Nixon'. I believe that episode aired around the time the movie was released.
