Okay... I can't believe no one has said anything about this yet...
I've kept quiet for so long because I can't remember the exact dialogue. But I *do* remember this much...
During the episode where Jerry and Elaine try to include sex in their friendship (this, that, the other...), in their initial discussions, the dialogue goes *something* like this. (If anyone *really* needs the whole thing, I believe I have a tape)
Jerry: Well, why should it be so unnatural that we think about it? I mean, it was something we did, what... forty, fifty times?
Elaine: Thirty-seven.
This exchange, btw, was hysterical, and I can hardly do it justice here. So if you consider that they continued to have sex a few more times in that episode (then mysteriously stopped at the start of the new season, I'd put the number in the forties or fifties.
A last note...
This is *my* absolute favorite episode. When George says "Where do you get the ego?", I'm on the floor laughing...
I'm surprised there's been so little mention of it here.
