I have a question about the 100th show. Was this "episode" like just about every other sitcom in which the characters sit around and act normally but all through the episode they say "Remember when..." and the video dissolves into old eipsodes? Or was this like a stand-up act or on stage-talking-to-the-audience about old episodes?

I received a copy of the 100th show episode tape from a cereal box about 18 months ago. It is an original tape, offered free by the cereal company (can't remember which one!) just for sending in the box top.
At the beginning of the tape, Jerry is talking to the camera and says something like, "If you've just joined us, here's what you've missed." This is not a direct quote.
Then it goes on to show little bits and pieces of different topics: dating, etc.
It's very good--I'm SO glad I happened to get that particular box of cereal for my kids!

Jerry addresses the viewer for a minute or two at the start. Slightly amusing--then they weave the best sketches together for the next 45 minutes or so. Nice editing technique showing some of one scene and then returning to it later. If you're going to make a flashback episode, that's the way to do it--no pretense of a new plot.
