Ever tried any of the stunts pulled on Seinfeld?

The "preemptive break-up" episode made quite an impression on me. So much so that when I found myself in George's position (having no hand ... and knowing she's going to break-up with me), I went ahead and did it. I was at a point where I REALLY wanted to do something different because I was tired of the same thing happening. Well, it didn't work like on the show. I might have botched it up by doing trough e-mail rather than in person. I never did get any "hand". I had to move on. Next ....
