The Weakness of the Face Painter Episode

Comedy is subjective in nature. My voicing my opinion didn't keep anyone from chimming in with a contrary opinion. Also, in my defense, is I did it out of love. I wouldn't waste my time on a show I didn't basically like and then go to the added expense of contributing to the associated newsgroup. Us Seinfeld fans should stick together even if we can't agree on the woth of a particular show. Give peace a chance in Usenet!

I agree totally!!! Give peace a chance folks. Yep...and I can't imagine myself searching for a newsgroup on a show that I didn't care about and didn't like to just make comments that put down the show.

This show wich aired last week or should i say last weak is an indication of a certain downward trend in the show. The trend being lack of motivation. Elaine is tripping with the face painter and for no apparent reason she breaks up with him. And, out of character, she makes a rude gratuatous remark about her seat mate. Now don't get me wrong, being a New Yorker Elaine isn't shy about swapping satirical sallies but this isn't the same as initating them. Elanie is vested (for this one lone episode) with a mean streak. Continuity is being thrown overboard and the shameful thing is it's being done in a way that doen't provoke laughter.

Sorry Marty, when someone insults an episode, it's like they're telling me my child is ugly. My first reaction is always "Screw you!" I think it was the word 'shameful' in the original post that got me this time.

I've said it before.  I haven't yet seen an episode that I was disappointed
in.  Every one is golden and I thank Jerry and NBC every morning that such
a show exists.  Now it's your turn.  Tell me to 'get a life' or something.
