I think this one's a winner. the reason I think it would work is that we know so little about Newman. If they developed him a little more and gave him a few frightening acquantinces (since he'd never have friends) they could turn his character into the star of the most demented sitcom of all time. Plus, they wouldn't need to figure out a way to seperate one of the main characters from the other three, since Newman doesn't really associate with them anyway. Hell, I'd love to see them spin Newman off next season. I doubt it would conflict with the new Seinfeld episodes.
