I saw the Seinfeld syndication scheudule and one of the episodes they're skipping over is "The Pen." Why are they doing this? It's been forever since that one has been on! It's one of the only ones I've never seen, and I hear it's great.

Same here, as the show painted a perfect description of my grandmother's retirement community in Delray Beach. You got it-- the sleeper sofa and no airconditioning.

My mother is in Fla. as well, but more accurately, it's not necessarily "no air conditioning," but it's the refusal to use it no matter how hot it is. The other biting accuracy is the dinner at 4:00 p.m. phenomenon. Mom used to live in NY with the rest of us and I KNOW she had dinner at 8:00 like a normal (NY) human being.
You are correct regarding not using the AC. That was my mistake in my previous post.
Why would they choose to not syndicate an episode?
On 6/29, episode 3.05, "The Pen", will air in syndication.
