Jerry Seinfeld vs. Jay Leno?? What's up with that?

To change the subject a little...I thought I detected some animosity between Jay and Jerry. I caught Jerry on the Dennis Miller show a month or so ago and he did an imitation of Jay Leno on Miller's show the week before. He crossed his legs, pulled down his sock so his skin was showing at the cuff. The audience was screaming. Then on the Emmy's Jay made some crack about Jerry stopping short and three NBC executives broke their noses. Anyone know the scoop?

In the excellent book 'The Late Shift', it was revealed that Jay's former producer, Helen Kushnick, reamed Jerry over the phone when he had originally pitched the idea of doing a scene on TTS set with Jay. I don't know whether there are still lingering animosities over that or not.

Im so glad someone other than me noticed this......about a year ago i
noticed it when Jerry was on Leno to promote "The Pothole" episode.  There
was a strange animosity between them.  It really seemed to comr from
Leno.......like he was envious of Seinfelds successs.   I totally noticed
at the time!!!!!!!!!   Glad u did.
