Living in New York

Is it realistically possible to live in Manhattan, while having no consistent income, doing odd jobs, and still have a somewhat exciting lifestyle? Can a real Kramer afford to live in New York City? I've always wanted to live there, but I'm afraid that I'll have to compromise a lot of my current lifestyle due to lack of money.

I think that a Kramer can not exist in Manhattan, eat fresh fruit, dress in vintage clothing, go clubbing at the Reggae Lounge (though he could go multiple times and only pay once), etc.

New York is as expensive as hell, but its the only reason i'd leave Denver. I dont know if you could live in Manhattan, but what the Hell? You could always try it and if it dont work you can always move...

It looks like he doesnt eat much, and much of what he eats is Jerry's. Apparently he comes up with a scheme or two a month, makes a lucky bet, etc. there are people like this... and, like they say, fall ass backwards into money.

Hey, even Paul Reiser said he couldn't afford his apartment in M.A.Y. if he had to pay for it in real life...and that's the difference...this is NOT real life, guys.
