ELAINE IS IN LOVE WITH GEORGE!!!

Elaine is in love with George. Notice the strong interaction when they are together! She almost completely ignores Kramer(who seems to grab attention from everyone else). Remember how pasionately Elaine threw George's hairpiece out the window? This is an indication of true love. Elaine marrying George would be a great final episode.

I agree it would be funny to see Elaine and George together but what would make it funny is that ELAINE FINDS GEORGE REPULSIVE. I don't think she loves George at all

I think they are perfect for each other. They are both insecure and might relate to each other's quest for being the chosen ones. Of all the permutations I could put Elaine with everybody else, it'd be a hoot if she actually ends up with George...in fact, that's your new sitcom right there.

So yes, George's success in dating is sort of referendum on Elaine's success. And its true to society. There are plenty of articles, daytime tv shows, etc that have shown the plight of women trying to find Mr. Right. These women, tending to be average (like Elaine), think that the average guy (sort of like George) just isn't good enough, and these women end up being bitchy old maids. And its the guys' fault.

Elaine is intelligent, extremely good looking, funny, socially with it (except for her dancing), fit, etc. George is chunky, balding, lazy, incredibly perversely selfish, cowardly, etc. Elaine is far above average and George is far below average.

One of the ironies of Seinfeld is that George, such a loser, gets such great women. Yet Elaine, by far the best looking of the bunch, gets stuck with losers most of the time (Puddy excepted). Remember when George was going on and on and on about the qualities he wanted in a woman....thick hair, rosy cheeks, etc. Jerry was about to burst out laughing because loser George wants to be so picky.

And *this* actually reflects real life. I was reading somewhere about a guy whose balding, fat friend was going to break up with a good-looking, nice woman. The reason why? He didn't like her toes.

I think George reminds me of those old Woody Allen movies where he gets the great looking girl and you know in real life there is no possible way. As a guy, there is a little bit of George in all of us as we get older. I have a friend of mine who is 33, going bald, still lives with his mom, and is one of the most pickiest guys I know when it comes to women. He must think if George can do it so can he.

I never said Elaine was admirable or a fit role model. In fact, in other posts I've said none of the 4 are, they are all amoral. So you can keep the gift certificates for counseling for yourself. You seem to have some problems with women, not exactly latent either.

What I was saying was that if someone says Elaine is on the same level of social desirability as George, they are wacko. Elaine is far above George's level.
