Has anyone considered the possibility that Kramer is the illegitamate son of Klinger from MASH fame?

Did anyone see the LA LAW yesterday (16th)? Was the old guy on the show the same one that plays George's father??? He looked like the father, only better.

Yes, that was Jerry Stiller. I thought he looked better too, even without his hair dyed. But LA Law has always had higher- than-TV-average production values. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I didn't see the show, but I saw a commercial for it right after Seinfeld, and I think it was the same guy.

Looked like the same actor to me. I forget his name, but have seen him around for years. Good character actor.

My birthday begins in a few hours and I feel completely ancient as it is without being reminded that there are adult people out there operating computers who do not know who Jerry Stiller is. *sigh*.

Yes, that was Jerry Stiller on L.A. LAW, who also plays Mr. Costanza (and very well, I might add) on SEINFELD.

He and his wife, Ann Meara, had a comedy duo together for years, named Stiller and Meara (unsurprisingly). Their son, Ben Stiller, is also an actor/comedian.

Although I can certainly understand the theory of Kramer being the illegitamate son of Klinger from MASH, I have noticed a strong similarity between the logical reasoning power of Kramer and Cliff Claven from CHEERS fame. (and doesn't that hair look alot like Carla's???...scarry....

If you remember the episode where Klinger made a voodoo doll of Potter and later confessed to Mulchay that he "had dabbled in the occult," you may see Kramer saying "You wouldn't want that!" As to the thinking of Cliff Klaven and Kramer perhaps that is the answer. Klinger visited Boston to see Charles and met Cliff's mother. Of course, in those days the baby would have been put up for adoption. Klinger's son and Klaven's half brother. What a tangled web we weave...
