Viewers discuss whether the actress who played Cynthia on Seinfeld's "The Fix-Up" is the same person who plays Janice on Friends, with confirmation that Maggie Wheeler portrayed both characters.

I am not a regular reader or poster to the group so do not know if this has ever been discussed before, so please be kind to me if it has.

I recently saw an episode of Seinfeld ..episode # 33 "The Fix Up" in which there was the defective condom, BTW...where I swear that the actress playing Cynthia ia the same actress who plays Janice on "Friends".

Does anyone know for sure if they are the same? The name on "Seinfeld" was Maggie Jakobson and on "Friends" it is Maggie Wheeler. Could you post me the answer directly as I don't check in very often and may miss it if it were only posted to the group.

if you are referring to the girl who has a "rosy glow" and great eyebrows who gets set up with george on an episode of seinfeld, yes, that is janice from friends. a lot less annoying when you take her out of context, huh?
