Star Salary

I read somewhere that the stars of Seinfeld, Kramer, George, and Elaine are asking for more money per episode. I may be wrong, but I think the article stated that Jerry Seinfeld made $2 million per episode and that the others were asking for $1 million per episode (Seinfeld has a contract but the other three do not). I also read further that Jerry Seinfeld says that he would not do the show next year if the other three are not signed.

Is there truth to this, and are the per episode figures correct? I hate to think that the show would end on a salary dispute.

Unless one of the actors or an NBC executive gets mad cow disease, they'll be coming back next year. There are 3 more weeks to the season (4 counting this week), but filming has already finished until August. They have 4 weeks to close the deal and Jerry has said that if they go down, they're all going down together. But I would bet immense amounts of money that they'd be back- indeed, I'd bet my life. Don't worry.
