Episode of 1/08

Tonight's episode was a very good step up in quality. The writers have learned to make the episodes more focused on "real life" situations, taking them to the utmost extreme. Such events as George's ordeal trying to obtain the Twix bars and Kramer pushing the Empty level to the maximum! That was hilarious stuff! I also thought the subplot dealing with Elaine and Jerry (and Puddy) was entertaining, especially at the end. Loved Elaine's cheerful "See ya!" Overall, a good sign that this season is improving.

I enjoyed tonights episode. All the storylines were pretty good, except maybe they over did Georges, but overall it was a good effort. I'm sure going to miss it when it ends :-(

I got the biggest kick out of Elaine imitating Puddy's look & stare. That was great!

On the subject of spinoffs - why just focus on one of the characters getting their own show? I think the show could go on with all of the remaining characters if Jerry left. Sure, there would be a void (and an obvious need to change the title) but hell - just have Jerry taking off somewhere to find himself - perhaps a few 'guest' shots during the season - and voila! The rest of the cast could carry on for a couple of more seasons. Seinfeld has a huge cast of regulars - there are established characters that can be brought in every few episodes on a regular basis now - and if more are introduced ...?!?

I say it can be done!

I doubt I'd be enraptured with this episode if it didn't mean something very nice for an old friend.

The mechanic who took the Twix...maybe recognizable for a string of commercials 1-2 years back. Anyone peg him? I'm pleased as punch to see that Joel McCrary was on Seinfeld. He's a brilliantly funny man, even though his part was pretty much straight-man.

What was the product he was associated with BEFORE Twix (the ad campaign he was in)? I'm pretty sure this was a national campaign.

I couldn't agree more. I thought George and the candy machine was hilarious. Who hasn't had that happen to them.

I agree! Others are saying this episode is bad and lame, but everyone is entitled to their opinions. I, for one, thought this was the funniest and best of the season! I was laughing all through George's situation, who hasn't had that happen to them when their trying to get candy from a machine? I hope and I think this is a good sign of the final episodes to come.

Ever get the feeling you've been to that car dealer and tried to buy a car from him? Or worse yet, succeeded?

Rather funny for George's paranoia to be justified for once, wasn't it?

Was Kramer's long drive with the salesman a parody of some movie scene? I sensed that their attempt to "push the envelope" by the long drive on empty was a reference to something else.
