Fans praise Jon Favreau's performance as Eric the Clown in "The Fire" and his memorable line about living in the past.
I was surprised to learn that Eric the Clown ("The Fire") was played by Jon Favreau (of "Swingers" and "Made"). He delivered, IMO, one of the funniest lines ever by a one-time character:
"You're livin' in the past, man! You're hung up on some clown from the sixties, man!"
