I was reading a Wodehouse novel yesterday. Bertie Wooster gets himself involved in yet another 'delicate' situation [climbed, via a ladder, into the wrong bedroomn while trying to pinch a pearl necklace].
Some of the situations in Seinfeld seem to be like a Wodehouse-style farce. Wodehouse had that knack of dropping new bombshells or twists at the end of every chapter, much like the one's Jerry and co. seem to get into before every commercial break.
I was wondering what Wodehouse characters would fit the foursome in Seinfeld. Wooster and Jerry? Gussie Fink-Nottle and George? Bobby Wickham and Elaine? Kramer and ??? well.. Kramer is such so unique that even Wodehouse would have had problems thinking of such a character.
