Peterman in MASH?

Forgive me if this question has been asked before--but isn't Peterman played by the same actor who played the paranoid army intelligence guy in the Allen Alda MASH series? Ariosa

If you mean Col. Flagg, probably not - he was played by Edward Winter.

If you're talking about Colonel Flagg, its not him. But I do seem to remember a minor, minor character that looked like Peterman. But definitely no Col. Flagg.

I couldn't find any resemblance between Peterman and Col. Flagg, either. But there was another M*A*S*H "paranoid army intelligence guy", in one episode, where Flagg and him were spying on each other.

Maybe that's who ariosa was thinking of?

It's not the same guy. I don't know Peterman's real name but I think the CIA guy's real name is Edward Winter.

John O'Hurley does not seem to be listed in the mash register. Can it be possible that you have cofused Peterman and Mr Stevenson. Although Ed Winter does not seem to have been in mash either.....

No, I think he's thinking of "Col. Flagg", the whacko intelligence guy. And there are certain similarities, but I don't believe it's the same actor.

The Swedish UN Official that had an war injury and couldn't use his pee-pee with Margaret was also not Peterman. I'm quite the MASH trivia guy so I'm continuing to think if Peterman was even in the show.
