Thanks - New Scripts Transcribed

Thanks to Ivy, whose Seinfeld page is at; http://members.aol.com/seinfeld10/index.html , who sent me The Apology, The Strongbox and The Wizard. I have posted them on my site and linked them to the search engine.

Dave (ratboy) is doing a couple more and I will do some next week. Any other volunteers are welcomed. Many people have done the transcribing.

As more lists and more scripts are added the search engine on the home page is a great way for people to find (trivial) things about Seinfeld.

For example if you wonder what references there are to "computers" in the series, when you go to my site, search for pages that contain the word "computer". Then open those pages, one at a time, and use your browser's "Find" feature to see where it is in the page.

The "Site Miner search engine" gives me a report on how many searches are done on what word. I will post that soon so you can see what word people have been looking for. [Hint: the most frequent searched word is 45 times - the second most frequent drops way down to only 9 times.]

Mike, tv tuner card in my computer is capable of making text transcripts from closed-captioned broadcast. I'll be glad to help you out with some episodes, contact me on my @ (I don't read this NG too often)

That sounds really interesting. But does the Closed Caption text exactly mirror the spoken text. I have seen CC text that leaves things out, or just approximates the spoken words.

An intriguing list. Might be interesting to speculate as to why folks are searching for some of these, such as, say, "address."

And reckon I'm going to have to give that Festivus episode another try. Do you think it's that good? I note that the Festivus "holiday" (like "Kwanzaa") does seem to have caught on. (I saw it recently referenced in another ng.)

BTW, am I correct that the "master of domain" phrase appears in TWO episodes BESIDES The Contest episode? One is definitely that where George is a hand model (the previous model was NOT "master of his domain"), but I can't recall the other one in which I heard it. (Of course, I'm not counting the clips episodes.)
