100th episode

I collect the episodes but am missing the 100th episode "Highlights of a Hundred." If anyone has it I will be willing to buy or trade.

You know, I saw the 100th episode when it was first on and really wasn't that impressed with it. "Seinfeld" episodes need to be seen in their entirety to be appreciated, since the interlocking plot threads all usually come together hilariously in the end! Taking scenes out of context, even very funny scenes, cause them to lose a lot of their humor when you don't have the right preludes and epilogues attached to them. Anyone agree?

While I agree with you that taking parts of episodes is not as funny as seeing a whole episode, I think that the 100th episode (Scenes from 100, or something) worked rather well if you saw most of them. This served as a small reminder of all the funny episodes that were on. It wasn't as funny as a whole episode, but it was working on another level.

One exception is the Seinfeld CD ROM, which has around 200 short snippets from classic scenes. They appear to be very funny out of context, for example, the description of Ray McKegney's plight in "The Puffy Shirt"

Its true... To really enjoy seinfeld you have to see almost all of them first...

Take the episode where Jerry buys his dad a car, for example, his parents are being framed for stealing money and the only person they need to save them is the old lady Jerry had stolen a piece of bread from in an earlier episode...

You have to see almost all eisodes to see that...

In one Jerry tells George he wants a JO-Jo and in the next episode he takes outa Jo-Jo and everybody laughs in the audience...
