Fans discuss whether Elaine's parents have appeared on the show, with some recalling her father Alton Benes from an episode about a suede jacket.
In the most recent episode we were treated to scenes featuring the parents of George (always hillarious) and the parents of Jerry (not as funny but a good stereotyping of older, Jewish parents). We have also seen Kramer's mother (in the episode where his first name is revealed).
This led me to wondering: what do we know about Elaine's parents? Are they even alive? Have they ever appeared on the show? Any info would be appreciated.
We've seen Elaine's dad on the episode where Jerry ruined his new leather jacket in the snow because of the candy cane stripes.

We know Elaine has a father. He's a famous writer and a Number One asshole. He intimidated the hell out of Jerry and George one evening. I have no idea about her mother.
