From an older Seinfeld head

I'm in my mid-40s, and thus probably one of the oldest people in this group. I started watching Seinfeld a few months ago... I'd avoided it for years, thinking it was either popular crap or nebbishy New Yorker Woody Allen junk.

My two cents: Seinfeld is the funniest show since the old Bilko show. The interwoven plots are ingenious... that's what made Bilko good, and they're even been at it.

It's the only syndicated show I watch. And I watch (and tape it ) six days a week.

My fave: The one where Jerry wears the thick glasses and buys the lo mein gum, and George wears the cape...mike

Like you I came upon Seinfeld after it'd been in syndication for a while and have finally caught up with all the shows and have many favorites. Among them is where George becomes a marine biologist and rescues Kramers golf ball. . .

Hey, don't feel bad. My parents are in their late 60's and they love the show. Its so funny to me, because they usually dont like shows that are so open, but they crack up when Seinfeld is on! As you can imagine they especially like the parents on the show, I think they just relate to them. :)
