Anyone ever tried the opposite?

Has anyone who has had a bad luck streak ever experimented with the opposite?

And since George was so successful in that one episode, why didn't he continue with it? (other than it being a plot device?) He'd probably end up as a millionaire...

I think the thing that was so hilarious about this ep. was the last scene in Monk's with George dressed to the 9's and ordering his "usual". It showed George's inflexibility beautifully.

Probably the same reason Jerry and Elaine didn't continue their short-term sexual relationship after the one episode--it wouldn't be consistent with the Seinfeldian (loser) world--or, broken down to the simplest explanation-- it wouldn't be nearly as funny. alt showbiz gossip

We need some guru to write a well-researched self-help book: "How To Do The Opposite (and get away with it)". Personally, I would like to do the opposite, but since I have no idea what I'm doing now, I can't figure out what the opposite would be.
