Where's the PEPSI?

    Many people are conserned that SEINFELD is becoming too commercial
with its stars appearing in commercials. Agreed.
    But does anyone else remember that long before Julia and Jason
(I'm on a first name basis) did those soda commercials that seemed to
influence the writting of the show (i.e. the PEPSI references a few
weeks ago when the gang in shopping for dinner party gifts), PESPI
had made its appearance on the show long before?
   I'm refering to "The Truth", where Jerry tells George about the
time, when he was a kid, that his cousin came over to the house and
asked for soda.  When the cousin found out that there wasn't any,
Jerry claims the cousin started screaming:
     "WHERE'S THE PEPSI?  WHERE'S THE PEPSI?"
   I'm not sure what this proves.  Why has SEINFELD chosen PEPSI over
COKE or even RC (the soda of the METS)?
