I know that Rochelle, Rochelle is intended to be a parody of those high brow, art house movies that are supposed to be edifying to the intellect ("Minsk?!), as Jerry shows, but are really aimed lower than the head of the guy audience. My guess is the film, The Lover, where most of the film is taken up with a young french girl and an older chinese guy in her education of the world of pleasures. Anyone else have any ideas?

That may be, though I always thought that the title came from "Jamon, Jamon" which was playing near the Plaza Hotel around the time that that episode came out.
