Ya know how in a lot of the episodes they do spoofs of existing movies (10/16 91/2 Weeks, the jon Voight thing, etc)... Well was the final scene where Morty and Helen Seinfeld and Jerry walked out of the condo and got into the car in slow motion a spoof of something?

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.
My guess is that it spoofs Richard Nixon as he makes one last goodbye gesture from Marine One. Perhaps the film "Nixon."
