TV guide pointed out that this season has lacked mainly in it's endings and they have been right. To name a few: The Checks: Japanese man mumbles "We those two idiots, it's a wonder the Yankees won the world series" Critique:Mildly funny punchline but Seinfeld needs more of a big bang physicle or explosive ending. This was kind of flat.

The Abstinance:Kramer tells Jackie Chiles that the suits against the tabacco company has been dropped and we see Kramer is the new marlborough man, and Micky mumbles how this was one of his greatest public humiliations. Critique:another flat ending, but it had potential. Kramer on the billboard was funny but Jackie's line spoiled it somewhat.

There are a few others I can't recall right now. But for the badc ones I have to argue that there have been many classics: The Soul Mate: All the guys getting visectomies. hilarious freeze frame.

The Little kicks:Elaine and Frank duking it out in a police station is one of my all-time favs.

The Fatigues: FRANK NOOOOO!!!!

Other good ones were "The Comeback" (Elaine "pulls the plug" on Kramer) "The Foundation" (just look at the expression on George's face as he stares at Susan's portrait) "The Little Jerry" (Elaine turning away and George struggling for a peek at Kramer getting pecked) and "The Bizarro Jerry" (George's picture of a model cut out from a magazine).

I think you're being too critical here. Many of the early episodes had endings that were not that spectacular but were still funny. "The Truth" for example, freeze framed with the gang walking out of Jerry's apartment.

Two more good ones - Kramer as a pimp in "The Wigmaster" and Jerry taking revenge on Newman in "The Barber" to classical music.
