Wedding in India???

The latest episode schedule shows an upcoming new episode about flashbacks detailing events leading up to a trip to India. (Allow me: Why?) What the heck?? Does anyone else think this sounds absolutely strange and ridiculous? Is that what the writers have to do to avoid reapeating themselves--take a trip to another country?? That doesn't seem to be a Seinfeld-style plot at all, with the flashback narrative and the foreign trip. Sounds like some other sitcom.

A while back a friend of mine wrote a Seinfeld script for a creative writing course about the gang vacationing to some exotic locale or something, but this friend was not terribly familiar with the show, so his plot was totally out of the spirit of the show. Now the real show is headed the same way. We'll have to see whether they can pull it off believably, but this should be interesting, at the least.

Except that India and Pakistan, while neighbors, are also enemies, and periodically exchange artillery fire across their border.

wow...even better.....god i love this show!!!!

There is a musical by Stephen Sondheim called Merrily We Roll Along that is written in reverse order. It starts out with a team of songwriters who are bitter and unhappy and as the show moves along it goes back in time. We begin to see the chain of events that caused them to be unhappy and at the end of the show they are full of life and just starting out in their careers - full of optimism.

By the way, Jason Alexander (George) starred in the original production on Broadway.
