i heard on CNN today that the episode where susan dies, from licking the envelopes, has been pulled from syndication "indefinitely" due to fears of being insensitive towards the current anthrax crisis.... i haven't been able to find any information though; can anyone confirm?

Unbelievable! If the show was current and it was in the can or production I could sort of understand....but halting a re-run? That's trying to re-write history. It's already been shown...it's already happened...but hey...let's pretend it didn't. What's next.....door-to-door searches for anyone with a tape of it? And come on....hand in any copies of the script too.

they've done it with a couple episodes of the Simpsons as well: Homer Vs New York (where homer's car is parked with the boot in the square at the base of the WTC) and New Kids on the Blech (the episode with nsync).

Isn't this the 2nd episode to be banned from syndication now? I heard the "Peurto Rican Day" episode was banned because of the flag burning sequence. Or is that false? I just heard that from a friend of mine a while back.

So we won't be seeing any of that stuff ever again. If anything they should be showing MORE clips of the twin towers saying as though we won't be seeing them any more.
