AMEX ads

Good day good people!
I saw one of those American Express commercials, and I have drawn a
conclusion...as a comedian, Jerry Seinfeld is the king (or master, whatever
you like), but as an actor, he sucks.  That has got to be the worst acting
I have ever seen.  He should just stick to sitcoms, and forget trying to make
money by doing tv spots for those AMEX people.

Someone earlier had posted, looking for the text of the fishbowl spot...Well, I don't have the exact words, but it was a bunch of fish puns (let your imagination run on the connection to Amex).

As to whether Seinfeld is a quality actor or not, yes, delivery is his, but the words and directions are not. His poor (subjecitve) portrayal of a credit card salseman is a matter of taste, and not entirely of his own doing.

Personally, I think that the fish gets the best lines.

In his interview with Barbara Walters last night, he said the show is really him because he's a terrible actor!
