I guess nobody bothered to tell him/her not to use all capital letters, which I realize is the equivalent of shouting. I find the appearance of all-caps to be irritating, but some people, such as my boss, like it. I don't know why as it is nearly impossible to read w/o a negative reaction.

I suppose that they feel their words are so important that they must scream them to the whole world. If they could, they would use 24pt characters.

Or, they're just jerks.

I always try to keep in mind that Usenet is an open forum where *all* viewpoints can be discussed in a stimulating and especially thought-provoking manner. Sometimes, emotions enter, and that's natural. I have a thick skin, but your apology is not appreciated any less.
