Best season

After reading the EW article and finally getting a comprehensive episode list with season breakdowns, I'd have to say that the sixth season was their all time best season. And judging from EW's grades they sem to think so too. What do you think? BTW, Larry Charles is quoted as saying the fourth season was the "Sgt. Pepper year." Does this mean it evolved the feel of the show to what it is today, or is he simply referring to it as their best season? Now I realize why some of those shows seemed so 'dark.' It was Charles' doing. If you haven't already picked it up, everyone should get the mag, it's a good article and gives some of us who became fans in the fourth or fifth season a bit of perspective on the show's history.

I remember that during that sixth season, everyone was talking about how lame it was compared to the previous two, and Entertainment Weekly ran an article during the seventh season about how it had made sort of a "comeback". And whenever I see the sixth-season episodes, I can see why people felt this way. Now EW turns around and rates more episodes in the sixth-season highly than in any other. What gives? And What the HELL was "The Parking Garage" doing in the Top 100 Episodes of All Time? What is wrong with these stupid people?
