Apologies if this has been discussed in the past, but I just found this newsgroup and I am a huge Seinfeld fan....anyways

I was wondering if anyone knows if 'Newman' is his first or last name?

I'm assuming its his last name (like 'Kramer' was for so many years) and if it is, then does anyone know his first name?
