In the episode where George sees a psychic with Elaine he says his Brother once impregnated a women named Paula.
Thought I'd mention this with the posts about Elaine's brother. Again, we never hear of George's bro in any other shows.

I think I have the answer to this vexing mystery. Paula couldn't stand George's parents (who can?) and she said to his brother "its either them or me) He made the right choice and now the live a wonderful life with their child far away from New York and all the Costanza madness. Elaine's brother is gay and did not get along with their macho father so he never comes around much (remember the episode where George and Jerry meet Mr. Benes, the testosterone-crazed wannabe Hemingway? What an asshole!)
In yesterday's episode, The Parking Space, George mentions his brother when he is in Jerry's car with Elaine.
