One of my favorite early ones, especially since it shows a compassionate side of George that was more or less wiped out later in the show's run. But one part of the script doesn't make any sense at all--when Antonio tells George that there was an explosion in the restaurant and five people died (including his successor as a busboy). Doesn't it seem to you that an explosion at a restaurant would have been reported widely in NYC newspapers and broadcast media? And wouldn't Jerry, George and Elaine have known about it, since it was a restaurant they had patronized?

I didn't think the explosion was odd but it did seem to me the second from the top button on Jerry's shirt was rather high.

Perhaps the busboy found out about it before it hit the press. Or possibly, none of the characters watched the TV news or read a newspaper on the day it happened. It's entirely plausible. I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood, and there was a murder that took place in the parking lot of a bar that's just three houses down from where I live. I first learned of it two days later when I heard it from a friend who lives eight miles away! (He heard about it on TV.)
How often do we see Jerry watching the News or reading a paper? How far
away from their neighborhood was the restaurant? I suppose it's
possible for them not to have heard about it.
