A while ago there was a story about Seinfeld in TV Guide. It basically talked about how he wanted to quit the show when it reached it's apex in popularity. He also described what the last episode would be like, and lo and behold if it wasn't the exact same story line as this week's episode (about them getting asked by NBC to do a show, and they decide to pitch an idea about doing a show about themselves, only it turns out that all the character's end up being horrific exagerrations about the real characters).

Did anybody else read that article? Is it a portent for the future?

Yup, I read it.  It wasn't the EXACT same story line as that episode in that
the show hadn't been made yet (the fictional one, that is).  I think that the
end he's got proposed sounds really cool, but hopefully it won't happen for
at least three more years.
