If we're all honest with each other, Jerry's acting in the first few seasons left a lot to be desired. While the other three left you in stitches, Jerry was a little disappointing.
George has countless great scenes which are very well acted and very funny. Kramer too has featured in so many scenes where what he says, and more often what he does, is simply hilarious.
However, there will always be the 'car rental' scene in "The Alternate Side". This is one of the best scenes, if not the best scene featuring Jerry. He was brilliant with his disgust at the rental company's lack of reservation skills, and his acting with Elaine and the clerk was fantastic.
This is one of the reasons I love Seinfeld. "The Alternate Side" could only be described as an 'average' episode, and yet, there are scenes of this quality. This is what makes even a 'bad' Seinfeld streaks ahead of anything else on television.
