Parents of Kramer/Elaine?

I cannot recall an episode dealing with (or mentioning) Kramer's parents or Elaine's parents.

Have they ever been mentioned, even peripherally? Are they still alive, or do we not know?

Kramer's Mother has been mentioned several times. He got his brown jacket from his Mother's neighbor - it's suppose to have some sort of magnetic power over women.

and Elaine's Father was in an episode that was aired during the second season. He was a cranky writer. Jerry and George were nervous to meet him and had to keep him company until Elaine arrived.

Kramer's mother Babs Kramer was in the episode called "The switch". She works as a bathroom matron. Kramer seeks his mother after five years, because George wants help from her to find out if his girlfriend is a bulimic that goes to the toilet to throw up. The thing about Babs sleeping with someone is that Kramer finds her making out with Newman in the end of the episode. Babs is also the one that reveals Kramer's first name (Cosmo) for Elaine, Jerry and George.

She's the one who revealed it!

Are you kidding?!! Babs Kramer (his mother) is the person who told everyone Kramer's first name. Didn't she work in a bathroom at a restaurant?

If I'm not too late, Jerry and George meet Elaine's father for dinner. Elaine shows up late leaving the boys having to make difficult conversation with Elaine's stubburn old geezer father. I believe Jerry has a new suede coat with a pink lining in this one.

I remember an episode where Jerry, Elaine , and George wanted to know Kramer;s first name...well the only way the could find out was when Kramer's Mom came on the show and Jerry happened to over hear Kramer's Mom calling Kramer by his first name, which is Cosmo. Jerry of course made Kramer reveal his name as if he were Rumplestiltskin. So yes, Kramer's Mom has been on the show, at least once. Now Elaine's parents I never herad of. Of coures I have heard of her having a sister.....

It was raining and Elaine couldn't make the meeting with her dad, Jerry and George went to meet him. The suede coat got wrecked. George was singing Master of the House from Les Miserables, and the last scene was Elaine's father singing Master of the House on his way home
