!!Ya'all are too damn critical

Okay, I've read the papers and the posts and talked to people. The general consensus is that the last episode sucked. Well, I don't think it sucked. It was great. I laughtd thru the whole thing. Hey, the plot was a little silly, but aren't most show finales? Hell, in Night Court, bull went to mars with aliens! But c'm on, people! Give it a chance! You're telling me that you didn't laugh when the soup nazi got angry at the prosecutor? When Babu shook his finger for the last time and said "Very bad man!"? When Newman was eating popcorn in the court room? That was hilarious! Years later, when it's seen in reruns, ya'all will think it is much funnier than it is now. Lighten up! Just enjoy the moment and stop critising every little detail. Hey, remember, this episode had a little of everything: the rules, a standup gig, old characters, and trivial past stuff (vandelay, etc). Could you think of a better way to end it? When you can, then complain. Frank

i agree with you frank . the last episode was very funny , just that people were to absorbed in expecting a huge show filled top to bottem with comedy .if we look at this show you relize this episode was just like a normal one but many overlooked that . I thought it was very funny and closed up alot of loose ends. It brought back memerable charactors and was a really good show .

All I'm saying is : LIGHTEN UP!!! Just accept it instead of dwelling on what you thought wasn't funny. If you thought that the show in general was funny, then they had clips of previous shows and updates on the characters. We all got to see everybody again, that was a little sentimental. Frank

	Now, let me start my complaints....

All in all I thought the finale was pretty good. My complaints? George was TOO annoying several times, but mostly in the meeting with NBC. He changed too much from his attitude in the waiting room to his brashness when meeting with the execs.

The other criticism is of Jerry's lack of concern throughout the whole trial and upon being jailed. While it IS normal for him to laugh off the troubles of his friends, it's NOT typical of his character to be so detached when he himself is facing a bit of a problem. I didn't mind the stand-up at the end, I liked that he was making the best of the situation. But it was not like him to just accept prison without going a bit crazy.

This is a little off-topic, but pertinent to why the ending episode was not what we expected. I am an astrologer, and when I heard that they were taping the final episode on a day when the Moon was void-of-course (not making any aspects to other planets) I said to myself "Uh, oh. This isn't going to be good. It will not turn out as they expect." Now I don't know what they expected, but we expected something funny and didn't get it. They taped it at the very worst time they could have chosen for a positive result.
