Lloyd Braun

Hi,

I had a question I was hoping someone could answer about Lloyd Braun. I remember I once heard Kenny Kramer say that Lloyd Braun was based on an actual person whom either Jerry or Larry David knew in New York. Does anyone know who this guy is, or what his story is? Because while the character of Lloyd Braun doesn't show up in any episode until he appears as David Dinkin's advisor in 1993, the name of Lloyd Braun was used to describe a co-worker of George's in "The Message". Jerry and George are in Monk's and George mentions that Lloyd Braun called him "a wuss". Did Jerry and Larry David have it in for this guy so much that they used his name as an arrogant co-worker of George's in 1991, then they use him again as a different arrogant character in 1993? Anyone know the story behind this guy? Thannks!

He is chairman of ABC Entertainment, part of the Disney corporation. In fact, he was the guy who initiated the failed attempt to lure David Letterman to ABC in place of Nightline.
