Did you guys in the USA know that the DVDs are on sale here in the UK earlier than in the USA.
Was wondering if any of you know why?

In Australia we got them on Oct 20th so I have been able to view a number of episodes. Unfortunately we seem to have an annoying noise artifact coming through on most episodes.
There is a noise that lasts about half a second, mainly on the left channel that sounds like ...ffffttt... and happens maybe a dozen times through each affected episode.
For example in the episode "The Jacket" it occurs at 17:49 where Jerry is turning his jacket inside out.
In the "Inside Look" extra for that episode they replay that part of the episode and the noise occurs at exactly the same place in the scene (at 1:43) which seems to imply the noise is from the recording source and not as a result of a defective disc.
I have since listened to a friend's copy and get the noise in exactly the same place. It's more distinct (and annoying) if you listen through headphones.
As UK is also PAL the above timings should probably be the same. Would be interested to see if you get this also.
Mine is just fine during the Jacket @ 17:49. Jerry does click his fingers at exactly this point.

I just checked and on my copy the sound comes thru 2 sec before Jerry clicks his fingers. Think I'll rent and check before buying the next release.
