after much debating, I have decided that it is just not worth the trouble of making and selling VCDs (since it is still bootlegging as well. and we all know how Jerry feels about that) anyhow the video quality is just not the best. it looks good but it is nothing compared to DVD. in fact video tape is better at this point they look good on the computer but are pixilated on the tv. I don't want to sell something that is less then great. I know that alot of people where interested in them but quite frankly it is just not worth the risk and trouble.

Actually, divx encode format surpasses vcd in comparison, cd per cd. If you' re into encoding like my self, you'll notice that the new divx codec 4.11, 4.12, are capable of 2pass vbr. I like to make backup copies (divx format) of my DVD movies and they are very similar to dvd quality. Though, the divx format "Seinfeld" episodes that are widely available throughout the internet are very poor in quality. (I have a set myself) I can't wait until they come out on DVD.
