Pilot episode

Now I know why the pilot was never shown. It sucked.

I don't know if it would have gotten me to continue watching, but in retrospect I liked it--better than some of the eps this season.

How about Jerry's comment that Kramer hasn't left the building in 10 years? Kramer agrees with Jerry on that point. My question is does this ever get explained in a later episode?

Pilots are made to convince the network to make it into a series. The network often makes changes that they feel will improve it's chances.
