jerry may or may not read alt.tv.seinfeld, but i don't think he could possibly read something then use that concept on the show a week (or even a month) afterward. not even the non-alternative media works that fast!
let's get some real evidence: jerry, if you are reading this group, put this line in next season's opener: "do you think superman was master of his domain???"

Pretty funny. This would fit in well with the "Seinfeld Motif". One of the aspects of the show i appreciate most is the increasing depth and richness of the humor as the show reflects more upon itself. Sort of like zooming into a fractal boundary. A subtle reference to a previous episode couched within an ongoing thread is a perfect line.
Anyway, Superman would have been master of his domain by necessity. I once read an article on the bio-physics of ejaculation by Kryptons on Earth. The analysis pretty much proved that if Superman ever had actually known Lois Lane (in the biblical sense), the force with which His sperm would have been ejaculated would have literally ripped Miss Lane to shreds.
Of course, a Super self-embrace might not kill anyone but it would surely cause tremendous damage to private property. Something Superman would never allow himself to do. -rr-
I've heard that condoms may soon be marketed in different sizes - I'll bet the smallest size will be called "jumbo". Like movie sodas there will be no small. Anyway could you imagine what the Seinfeld show could do with that topic? Think about George going to the drug store to buy condoms.
Actually, this was a really humorous essay/story by Philip Jose Farmer (he's a fantasy writer). The premise of this was basically to examine what would happen if sexuality was added to the Superman mythos (much the same thing as he did in _A Moveable Feast_ with the Tarzan/Doc Savage stories).
One really funny thing was the discussion of the effects of Superboy (or Superteen) experimenting with himself. A picture was painted of the Kent home in Smallville riddled with holes from supersonic ejaculations, and women around town becoming pregnant from all the Superseed flying around.
I couldn't tell you where to find the story, it was in an anthology I read about ten years ago.
Actually it wasn't Philip Jose Farmer who wrote this. It was Larry Niven. The title was (I beleieve) "Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex". I am sure it is in one of Niven's short story collections.
just so's ya know: in the new tv guide, there's a q&a section in the front, and the lead q is "when do we get jerry on pez dispensers?" the pez folks say they only immortalize not-real folks (or maybe dead ones), or something to that effect, so basically it's not gonna happen. time to take matters into our own hands, and (gasp) bootleg 'em. :-O chris.
I read a similar story (it may be the same, since I don't remember the name of the author). The title was "Man of Steel, Women of Tissue" (or maybe "...Women of Paper"). It was very amusing...
