MB, known to the Usenet community as The Magnificent Bastard, has been paying Usenet members to post on his threads, thus inflating the amount of posts, to feed his hungry ego. Investigators have sited his recent thread, "The Passion, No Spoilers" as prima facie evidence that a conspiracy to defraud members of the Usenet community into believing that the thread was a result of his prowess as a Usenet poster were in fact a pumped up fraud. This particular thread, among others, boasts 272 instances of responses, most of which were perpetrated by PAID members of "The Magnificent Bastard's" staff, in a successful attempt to enhance Mr. Mag B's image on the network. When phone calls to Mag B's headquarters were attempted, a spokesman who only goes by the handle, "Promdress" stated that he had no comment. These allegations come during a time in internet history when blatant dishonesties are constantly plauging the internet community. My advice, as a Usenet user and unofficial regulator, is to ignore his posts in the future. Only when he realizes that his attempts at gaining attention will be met with deaf ears will he learn to play the Usenet game honestly, and with integrity. That'll be all.
