What is the "yam-yam"?

This is the episode when Elaine goes to an office dinner and makes out with this guy called Zach on the dinner table after having one too many? She told everybody they were dating to avoid being the office skank. When Peterman told her to help him through his cold turkey, she told Peterman about him making out with another woman in the office building and thus she would like to break it off. Peterman then said, "That's not Zack, that was the yam-yam".

Interesting. I don't think Peterman was going to fire Elaine for testing positive, he was just not going to allow her on the trip to Africa. But that was still a punishment, whereas Zach was not punished for his drug problem.

Hmmmm.

But didn't Peterman say he felt responsible because he gave Zach the
names and numbers of drug connections in Taiwan (or wherever)?  Maybe
that's the reason for Peterman's 'change of heart'?

Or possibly he thought that Elaine was in denial or lying, whereas Zach apparently admitted it.
