The Early Shows

I'm catching them for the first time in syndication--hardly a laugh...unfortunately in most of these shows (George sees a faith healer, Jerry invests in the stock market, etc) these characters could have been played by just about anyone...Fortunately it didn't take too long for the show to find its way... --JLR

I'm glad the show found its way! They had no chemistry in the early episodes but they show changed a little and they finally got the characters to be "together" so to speak.

Good thing too or I bet the show wouldn't have lasted.

I thought it was funny since the first show. It just keeps getting better. (I know somw of the shows are not all gems, but most are better than 99.9% of whats on TV - or the movies for that matter!)

I think that this show is as good as Fawlty Towers (of BBS). They said that Fawlty Tower only had about 12 episodes becasue it was too hard to write - it make one appreciate how hard it must be to cut and paste all those cuts in a single episode of Seinfeld.
