I cant belerve I am still watching Seinfeld repeats

Yeah it's weird. Maybe its proof that TV is devoid of anything worth watching?

Face it...is there any sitcom currently in production that even comes close? You can count on the fingers of one hand, the ones that are even watchable and funny. Beyond Frasier, Drew Carey and Everybody Loves Raymond, where do you go?

That's why we still watch Seinfeld. It's funnier than anything they're making now.

TV Guide was right...it was the best. Unfortunately, if history's any guide we're likely to end up waiting a long time for the next great sitcom. So we'd probably better be satisfied with Jerry's reruns for the next several years, at least.

I still watch _Cheers_, _Gilligan's Island_ etc, being there the first time around. The same can be had for a myriad of other series, including _The Time Tunnel_, _The Twilight Zone_ etc, ad naseum.

There *are* sitcoms worth it now, IMHO.

Raymond is pretty good. I watch _Just Shoot Me_, _Frazier_ among others.

I'll admit, though, that my 'affection' for these other *new* shows, cannot compare to the appretiation I have for _Seinfeld_.

I don't (can't) watch any of those. There have been a couple watchable shows but they didn't survive. Last year, Welcome to New York and this year the new show of Ellen DeGeneres. The year after Seinfeld went off there was a total void as far as I am concerned. I rarely watch (except for Seinfeld reruns) any of the network channels any more. PBS is the sole exception.

News Radio was pretty good, however it did go downhill after Phil Hartman was gone.
